When is Kaal Bhairav Jayanti Pooja in Year 2024

The Kaal Bhairav Jayanti is celebrated in the month of margshirsha on the Ashtami of Krishna paksha i.e. on the eighth day of waning moon. On this day Lord Shiva appeared in the form of Bhairav to make the humanity free from all the evil spirits and bad sins that they have committed. Bhairav Jayanti is also referred to as Kaal Ashtami and fast is observed for the whole day. All the desires and success is being attained by doing the Kaal Bhairav jayanti pooja. Lord Bhairavnath possesses the tantra and mantra knowledge and hence it is believed that pooja done on this day helps the individual to attain the spiritual knowledge.

In the morning it is advisable to take bath early in the morning and to perform sharadh for the ancestors which will be followed by the bhairav jayanti pooja. The strong determination and the good health is also achieved by the devotees.

The proper rituals need to be followed during this day and the pooja should be done with full dedication and devotion. Generally the pooja is started with the Lord Ganesha and then the Lord Bhairav is worshipped. The jagran can also be performed on this day which is then followed by aarti. According to the mythology, it is also believed that feeding to black dog helps to attain blessings as the dog is the vehicle of Lord. All the malefic effects of the planets are being removed from the horoscope of the individual. The peace, success and all the materialistic comforts are also achieved fom the Bhairav Pooja. The wealth and health is also achieved by worshipping Maa Kali on this day.
